DIE CUTTING

Besides chromatics, embossing is another branch of typography. It is interposed between imagination and the end product. By die cutting we can give the desired shape to a folder, to a printed or serigraph catalogue. The variation and complexity exclusively depend on imagination and ideas. Embossing a cardboard turns it into a box of the desired sizes. Practically, any shape may be performed by embossing. Die cutting is performed with BOBST and WUPA plane dies and PORTOFEL dies.
